Production planning for metal fabrication
Cutting, bending, welding, coating and inspection: each step has a machine or a station, a person and a time. Taktcell puts them on one schedule.
Example machines
The screenshots on this page show a fictional demo company, Ironside Fabrication.

Machines and stations together
CNC lathes, mills, lasers and press brakes sit next to welding stations, the coating booth and inspection. A job can be planned on any of them, so the whole route of a part is visible.
Long jobs and tight slots
A five-hour welding job and a 45-minute inspection fit on the same time line. “Next free slot” finds the first gap on a machine, and the warnings show when one person has two jobs at once.
Downtime that blocks the schedule
A hydraulic leak on the press brake is reported as a breakdown and blocks the machine until it is fixed. The jobs waiting for it are easy to see and replan.
Hours per job
The timer records the time each person worked on each job. The reports show hours per person and machine utilisation, and you can export them to Excel.
